"The Great Connector" Dr. Krista Marrero is a scientist, strategist, and passionate communicator establishing platforms: for accessible science & empowerment. Through engaging broad networks, she makes science more accessible, inclusive, and actionable. With a Ph.D. in neuroscience and a background spanning biochemistry, physics, and business, she brings a systems‑level perspective to every project she leads. Her career bridges cutting-edge research, biotech outreach, and professional development - always with a focus on translating complex ideas into real-world solutions. Whether mapping neural circuits, designing workshops for early-career scientists, or building ecosystems, she thrives in human connection. Guided by a commitment to mental health and a drive to open doors for others, Krista’s latest endeavors include customer discovery, experimental design for communities, and laboratory research features.

How CBN Came to Be

From Lightbulbs to Systems Clinical Behavior Networks was born from a recurring tension: learners were curious, but systems weren’t built to meet them halfway. Seeing the need for modular, behavior-informed tools that could adapt to real-world constraints - without compromising scientific integrity or emotional resonance - CBN responded, developing a framework: problem → insight → solution. Through iterative pilots and community feedback, this approach guides CBN innovation - from classroom modules to outreach pipelines. CBN isn’t a curriculum, product, or toolkit - it’s a philosophy. Knowing that curiosity has no barriers and learning thrives in community, CBN blends accessibility, representation, and flexibility to make science feel less like a gatekeeper and more like a shared invitation.
